At The Furry Dogmother, I believe grooming should never be something your dog fears. Unfortunately I see it all too often, dogs who struggle simply because they weren't introduced to it properly as puppies.
Those first few months are a crucial learning window. What your puppy experiences now shapes how they respond to grooming for the rest of their life.
That's exactly why I've created the Puppy Pamper Pack. It's designed for puppies 16 weeks and under to build confidence, comfort and positive associations from the very beginning.
What's included:
Your puppy will attend 6 visits, gently introducing them to the grooming process at their own pace and each visit will include:

A gentle wash, blow dry, and brush

Nail trim

A full groom or tidy up (final visit)

Exposure to grooming tools and handling

Time to explore and settle into the salon environment
Each session runs for 60 - 120 minutes, allowing plenty of time for a calm, positive experience without rushing.
How the visits work:
Visits are scheduled weekly to begin with, as consistency is key during those early weeks.
Once your puppy is feeling confident and comfortable with the grooming process, visits may move to fortnightly, depending on their individual progress.
Every puppy develops differently, so timing is always tailored to suit them. The goal is steady, positive exposure, without rushing or leaving too much time between sessions during this crucial learning window.

Why it matters:
Puppies introduced to grooming early are far more relaxed and cooperative as adults. Without that early exposure, fear and anxiety can develop.
Just like car rides, puppy school, or lead training, grooming is something they need to learn, and the earlier, the better.

This package is designed to be completed with a short timeframe, as this key learning period closes quickly (around 14-16 weeks).
Vaccinations & safety:
While many wait until vaccinations are complete, my studio is a clean, controlled environment, making early introduction both safe and beneficial.
